Accountant / Finance Director, REAP Nicaragua

Supervisor: Scott Esposito

Location: Granada, Nicaragua

Classification: 100% Support Funded

Commitment: 1 year minimum

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute base accounting processes and reporting
  • File appropriate taxes
  • Develop personal finance education material
  • Educate locals on personal finances
  • Establish savings accounts for locals and monitor and manage the saving process
  • Disciple & develop people on a daily basis: local communities and visitors
  • Manage financial processes
    • Cash flow, receipts and expenses
    • Weekly and Monthly Reconciliations
    • Report out to operations and base manager weekly/monthly on financial performance
    • Receive and respond to all financial questions from participants and staff
    • Education to participants and base leaders regarding financial procedures
  • Manage all spending for each STM trip
  • Able to give direct and constructive feedback and correction when necessary.

Children’s Ministry Director, REAP Nicaragua

Supervisor: Scott Esposito

Location: Granada, Nicaragua

Classification: 100% Support Funded

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partner with local churches to establish children’s ministry
  • Develop and establish a ministry among the children in unreached local neighborhoods
  • Identify and train local children’s ministry workers
  • Organize and coordinate children’s ministry training for church leaders
  • Facilitate the procurement of children’s ministry materials (visuals, tracts, etc) for local workers
  • Disciple & develop people on a daily basis: local communities and visitors
  • Involve incoming teams in aiding local workers with vacation bible school or event driven outreach
  • Works with local leaders to raise funds for children’s ministry needs

Communications Director, REAP Nicaragua

Commitment: 2 Year Minimum

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage all social media
  • Develop and maintain website content
  • Manage communication to supporters
  • Develop and execute base communications process
  • Develop all communications materials
  • Develop presentations for all STM teams and visitors
    • Participate in presentations
  • Develop handbook for all STM teams
  • Develop all informational brochures for STM teams
  • Ensure consistent and effective follow up communication to STM teams
  • Provide monthly communication to all base LTM’s to ensure cross communication
  • Schedule and coordinate all team meetings
    • Ensure appropriate agenda and minutes
  • Disciple & develop people on a daily basis: local communities and visitors
  • Able to give direct and constructive feedback and correction when necessary

Construction Manager, REAP Nicaragua

Location:Granada, Nicaragua

Classification: %100 Support Funded

Commitment: 2 Year Minimum

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the construction on the property in Pantanal
  • Work with architects on all plans and designs
  • Determine project budgets and meet all budgets
  • Work closely with all contractors
  • Ensure quality of construction
  • Coordinate hiring of workers
  • Work with Worship leader to coordinate praise and worship activities
  • Maintain strict discipline, order and process
  • Manage financial processes
    • Cash flow, receipts and expenses
    • Coordinate with accountant on all weekly and monthly reconciliations
    • Report out to base manager monthly on financial performance
  • Coordinate with Operations leader to integrate Short Term Mission teams
  • Disciple & develop people on a daily basis: local communities and visitors
